Angela & Christopher

The day before Angela and Christopher's engagement session, I learned about a potentially scary protest that had been scheduled two miles away from where we were going to be shooting! These days, you can't be too careful about things like that, so we decided to improvise and took a walk through Cary Town,  where we were able to explore all of the little nooks and crannies of this charming corner of Richmond.

I cannot express enough how easy this couple was to work with! They were so laid back, and their sense of humor and love for each other shown through so effortlessly. I think my favorite part about working with them was how hard it was for them to keep a straight face. So, anytime I put them in a "serious" pose, they inevitably burst out laughing and the end result would be even better than I envisioned it! Which just goes to show how amazing those spontaneous moments are!

After we were finished traversing Cary Town, we ended up at Christopher's mother's home where she had a gorgeous back yard garden. It was seriously adorable!

Tomorrow I'll be driving out to Baltimore to capture their wedding reception at the Boathouse. I'm so excited to be able to work with them a second time!

Congratulations to Angela and Christopher! See you on your wedding day!
